How to transfer money to your TSB account from overseas
If you’re overseas and have money to send home to your TSB account, or you’re expecting payment from someone in another country, the overseas bank will need a few details from you.
Important information
- All payments need to be remitted with the payer's full name and physical address – no initials or PO Box numbers will be accepted. This is a requirement for TSB to comply with the New Zealand AML and CFT legislation.
- Fees apply when you transfer money overseas. See here for details. Fees are subject to change.
- Overseas banks normally charge a fee for receiving international money transfers. If you want your recipient to receive the exact amount sent, you may like to consider adding this to your payment. You'll need to check with the beneficiary what this amount may be.
- TSB does not send International Payments to all countries. Please speak to us to check if we will send your payment.
