Also known as a telegraphic transfer, an international payment is a secure way to transfer money to and from overseas.

Sending money from your TSB account to overseas

To send an international payment from your TSB account, please see the below list of requirements for each country.

Australia

  1. Bank name
  2. SWIFT Code
  3. BSB number (6 digit number)
  4. Beneficiary's account number
  5. Beneficiary's full account name (initials will not be accepted for personal accounts)
  6. Beneficiary's residential address (PO Boxes will not be accepted)

Canada

  1. Bank name
  2. SWIFT Code
  3. Transit (4-5 digits) and Branch Number (3 digits)
  4. Beneficiary's account number
  5. Beneficiary's full account name (initials will not be accepted for personal accounts)
  6. Beneficiary's account address (PO Boxes will not be accepted)

European Union

  1. Bank name
  2. SWIFT Code
  3. Beneficiary's IBAN (international Bank Account Number)
  4. Beneficiary's full account name (initials will not be accepted for personal accounts)
  5. Beneficiary's address (PO Boxes will not be accepted)

Great Britain

  1. Bank name
  2. SWIFT Code (also known as BIC code)
  3. Beneficiary's IBAN (international Bank Account Number)
  4. Beneficiary's full account name (initials will not be accepted for personal accounts)
  5. Beneficiary's address (PO Boxes will not be accepted)

India

  1. Bank name
  2. SWIFT Code
  3. IFSC code (11 digits)
  4. Beneficiary's account number
  5. Beneficiary's full account name (initials will not be accepted for personal accounts)
  6. Beneficiary's account address (PO Boxes will not be accepted)

South Africa

  1. Bank name
  2. SWIFT Code
  3. Beneficiary's account number
  4. Beneficiary's full account name (initials will not be accepted for personal accounts)
  5. Beneficiary's address (PO Boxes will not be accepted)
  6. Beneficiary's phone number (if beneficiary is a business then please enter a contact first and last name)

United States of America

  1. Bank name
  2. SWIFT Code
  3. ABA or Routing number (9 digits)
  4. Beneficiary's account number
  5. Beneficiary's full account name (initials will not be accepted for personal accounts)
  6. Beneficiary's address (PO Boxes will not be accepted)

All other countries

  1. Bank name
  2. SWIFT Code
  3. Beneficiary's account number
  4. Beneficiary's full account name (initials will not be accepted for personal accounts)
